About Song Min "Abram" Kim
Youth Director Songmin “Abram” Kim originally grew up in Alexandria VA. During his early middle school, he moved to Newport News VA where he first encountered Jesus Christ through PKBC as a youth. He is a veteran who has served in the U.S Army from 2014-2020. He has a passion for being a nerd with technology and was originally pursuing a degree in Computer Science. God showed him a different calling and he is now pursuing to become a full-fledged youth pastor and is working on his new degree in Christian Ministry through Regent University. He currently leads youth Sunday school, Youth Group, and is also the Technical Director & Webmaster for PKBC. His goals are to guide and teach the youths how God sees them and for them to know that God loves them. He wants to pass the legacy of compassion that he experienced while he was in youth group to the new generations of youths. His hobbies include video games, board games, and cycling.
